My experience at LVMC

My experience at Park View Automobile Ltd TA LVMC could have been better because I feel I was sold a vehicle that quickly revealed serious faults, and once the sale was complete I was left to deal with the consequences. Before purchase, I was led to believe that proper repairs using genuine parts would be supported, but afterwards the position changed and I was pushed towards a third party warranty route instead. That warranty did not provide the level of cover I was led to expect and appeared to support cheaper non-genuine parts rather than the proper manufacturer parts. In my view, this felt deeply misleading, unfair, and completely unacceptable. I felt abandoned after the sale and left to struggle with a faulty vehicle, high repair concerns, and a stressful process that should never have happened after buying from a dealer.

We are sorry to hear that you feel this way about your experience. However, we do feel it is important to clarify the circumstances surrounding this matter.

At the point of collection, you made us aware that the vehicle had an uprated part fitted. Despite this, and as a gesture of goodwill, we agreed a £500 contribution towards having this rectified. When the vehicle later attended Tesla, we also contributed a further £700 towards costs, despite this not being an obligation on our part.

Throughout the process, we remained in regular contact with you via telephone and email and made every effort to assist. We also arranged collection of the vehicle and transported it directly to Tesla, whilst providing you with a Range Rover courtesy vehicle in the meantime to minimise inconvenience. As you were the registered keeper of the vehicle, Tesla would only discuss the vehicle and authorise works directly with yourself.

Tesla also confirmed there were no faults present before any additional works requested by yourself were authorised. Those items were outside of what had originally been discussed with us; however, we still made financial contributions in an effort to resolve matters amicably and support you throughout the process.

We therefore respectfully reject any suggestion that you were abandoned or misled. We made every reasonable effort to assist, including providing ongoing communication, courtesy transport, and financial contributions well beyond what was required.

We always strive to provide the highest level of service to every customer. Whilst we appreciate you may feel dissatisfied with the outcome, we do not feel your review fairly reflects the level of support and assistance provided throughout.

I'd endorse Park View Automobile Ltd TA LVMC because the overall service was fantastic. Winnie was thorough, welcoming and a great sales woman. The car was presented perfectly, couldnt fault them at all! 10 out of 10!
